David Pollack graduated Cum Laude from SUNY College at Brockport in 1985 and Brooklyn Law School with distinction in 1988 and was admitted to practice law in New York State in 1989.
Prior to joining Law Offices of Joseph A. Romano, P.C. Mr. Pollack worked as an Assistant Corporation Counsel for the New York City Law Department in the Special Federal Litigation Division where he defended the City of New York and its agencies The New York City Police Department, the New York City Department of Corrections and all other City Agencies in the US District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York where he was a Trial Specialist and successfully defended numerous trials, drafted pre-trial disposition motions and defended the City in mediation. Mr. Pollack was also the recipient of the Division Chief Award.
Mr. Pollack also served as Senior Counsel for several Bankruptcy firms where he specialized in unraveling two large Ponzi Scheme cases in the US Bankruptcy Courts in Hartford, Connecticut, White Plains and Manhattan. Mr. Pollack also served as an Assistant District Attorney in Kings County where he worked in the Major Narcotics unit and spearheaded investigations into numerous drug organizations, drafted wiretap applications and prosecuted numerous felony cases in Kings County Supreme Court.
In his spare time Mr. Pollack enjoys mountain climbing/hiking and other fitness related activities as well as baking.
